Malik al-Ashtar’s abuse

So much wrong with this one. 😮

Malik al-Ashtar Shujauddin, Mufaddal Safiuddin’s younger brother, makes fun of a boy for his weight, connecting to some (made up?) incident with Syedna Burhanuddin to make it seem like it is OK. Everybody is having a jolly time, at the expense of the boy. After the “joke” is over, he is told to pray shahadat (while the room is still laughing), and he is afraid to do so. Malik then says “pachi parse, thando pare tiware” (i.e. when he is less embarassed).

No azamat for Husain Imam. No respect for religion. Even lacking basic human decency. Just unbelievable.
